Whitsunday Paradise Explorer was created in June 2016 in order to satisfy a niche market in the Tourism Industry in the Whitsundays.
Our vessel, Paradise Explorer, is a nimble, safe and comfortable vehicle for exploring hard to get at places, away from the crowds. As it is trailer-able, we can deliver it to distant locations at an affordable price. The boat is not ever used for any fishing excursions so there is never that horrible fishy smell to put up with.
Our experience and local knowledge in and around the Whitsundays mean that whatever the weather, we can always find somewhere interesting to experience. We can link up with other tourism companies where a one-way trip is required e.g. Helicopter back from a private beach, or a bus ride back from a distant location.
We operate from either Marina at Airlie Beach (Abell Point marina and Port of Airlie) as well as Shute Harbour and Bowen Marina, to suit the customer’s location as well as the weather conditions.
We have a Mobile Credit card device so can process payments on the spot. We use local caterers who supply us with special, memorable lunches and can cater to any dietary needs (advance notice required). You may also bring your own lunch and refreshments.
We like to have fun out on the water or on the islands and are always open to suggestions from our guests.
We are members of Tourism Whitsundays and Bowen Tourism and so are always operating our business to the highest standards of ethics, safety and sincerity.
Whitsunday Paradise Explorer has recently upgraded their "Nature Tourism" accreditation with Ecotourism Australia to the next level, being "Ecotourism" certified as well as active members of the GBRMPA (Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority) “Eye on the Reef” programme and part of the Queensland Parks “Be Pest-Free” campaign, ensuring undesirable insects or seeds are not spread to or from islands and the mainland.
