Cancellation Policy

Where a trip is cancelled by Whitsunday Paradise Explorer due to weather, safety issues or unable to achieve minimum bookings, we will either offer a credit for a future booking or will refund, in full, all monies paid.

In the event that a booking is cancelled by the charterer or customer, we will refund on the following basis:

  • Outside 30 days from date of charter of a paid deposit or full payment – Full refund of all monies paid.
  • Within 30 days but more than 7 days of charter/trip date – Whitsunday Paradise Explorer reserve the right to retain 50% of deposits paid.
  • If less than 7 days, we reserve the right to retain all of the deposits paid prior (not exceeding 20% of the trip value).
  • Where a cancellation occurs as a direct result of a COVID-19 related border shut-down or flight cancellation, we will either refund any deposit paid or at the guest's discretion, hold the deposit for a future booking date.

Refunds will be made to the original bank account or credit card provider from where the deposit or fees originated – No cash refunds unless approved by Whitsunday Paradise Explorer.
